"Karlsvision" is an interactive city-building simulation game designed for the Karlsruhe City Archive. Set against the historical backdrop of Karlsruhe's architectural development, the game invites players to step into the role of city planners. Using an interactive touch screen, players design their vision of the city by balancing various building types, such as museums, green spaces, schools, and apartment blocks. Inspired by architectural drawings from 1947, "Karlsvision" blends nostalgic aesthetics with modern interactivity, creating a meaningful experience where past, present, and future converge.
